550kw Cummins Electric Generator

The 550kW Cummins diesel generator set is a complete set of equipment that uses a diesel engine to drive a three-phase AC generator to output electrical energy. It is used for continuous power supply and backup power support during mains power outages in industrial and commercial settings. 

Short-time overload capacity

100% copper windings and Class H insulation allow the conductor to withstand 3–5 times the rated current for up to 5 seconds.

Short-circuit current support

The response time of the synchronous reactance and excitation system determines the short-circuit current rise characteristics, enabling it to withstand electromagnetic shocks of approximately 3 times the rated current within 2 seconds.

High energy conversion efficiency

Efficiency of 92.4% is composed of copper losses, iron losses, and wind resistance losses, with the energy loss distribution jointly determined by the cross-sectional area of the copper conductor and the magnetic loss characteristics of the silicon steel sheet.
